About The Position

The Electrical Engineering Intern joins Axon’s Electrical Engineering team to gain hands-on experience working alongside senior engineers and mentors. The intern contributes to the design, development, testing, debugging, and building of electronic circuits and products throughout the product development cycle, applying academic knowledge to practical prototyping and validation. The role collaborates with mechanical and software engineers to help bring products to market and supports technologies serving law enforcement, public safety, and communities. The position is based in Axon’s Scottsdale, Arizona office and follows a hybrid schedule: onsite Tuesdays through Fridays, with the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays unless an approved workplace accommodation applies. Interns should plan for a full 12 weeks. Semester internships run May through August 2027, and quarter internships run June through August 2027. Starting pay is USD $35 per hour; actual pay depends on factors including level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and geographic market.
