The fab2 team is seeking Electrical Engineering Interns for the summer term, with a preferred commitment of 4 to 8 months. This role involves rebuilding the chip fabrication process from the ground up, offering exposure to impactful work. Interns will collaborate closely with engineers to develop lithography systems, deposition tools, vacuum chambers, nanometer precision motion control, plasma etching systems, and related tools. The expectation is to identify problems, prototype solutions, productionize them, and deliver finished solutions that will revolutionize IC manufacturing. The team emphasizes rapid development, aiming for completion in days or weeks, not months. A portfolio showcasing built projects is required, demonstrating experience with medium-to-high complexity systems through personal projects or previous internships.
