Kimley-Horn is seeking Electrical Engineering graduates to join their Long Beach, California office. This role involves utilizing technical software for analysis, production, and quality control of client deliverables. The analyst will solve complex problems, support project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to realize client visions for the built environment. Responsibilities include developing familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kimley-Horn's and client's practices and standards. The electrical teams handle diverse projects including building MEP, photometrics and lighting, power distribution, renewable energy, EV charging, security and communications, and industrial controls. The role also involves assisting with technical specification and report writing, and electrical equipment cost research. Analysts may gain exposure to solar/energy projects with a focus on battery storage and PV, and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Design, including traffic operations centers, sensors, message signs, CCTV, and fiber optic networks.
