About The Position
This role is responsible for maintaining and upgrading plant power systems, equipment controls, and Lasers. The position also involves conducting Electrical safety training.
Requirements
- 4 year degree from accredited college or university or equivalent training and experience.
- Hands-on experience with AC and DC circuits with voltages ranging from 12 vdc to 1,000 vdc and 120 vac to 480 vac.
- Experience with IGBT’s, power SCR’s, and high current diodes.
- Proficiency in Allen Bradley RS Logix, Control Logix, Linx, Panel Builder, and servo control software.
- Experience with AutoCad or similar software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
Responsibilities
- Quote and install power to equipment, light, and auxiliary systems, including 120v single phase, 240v three phase, and 480 three phase with currents up to 3,000 amps.
- Programming and trouble resolution of PLC controls and HMI, specifically Allen Bradley. Upgrade current PLCs, HMIs, and control networks.
- Setup and trouble resolution of Servo and DC drives.
- Build control panels, upgrade controls, install and test new sensors, wire machines, and install networks for machine control.
- Design, troubleshoot, and build small pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Maintain and troubleshoot the stenciler and marking systems for production equipment.
- Provide electrical engineering design, development, and installation support for capital projects.
- Conduct Electrical safety training.
- Provide electrical troubleshooting support for the maintenance department.
- Perform other duties as necessary to perform this job as deemed necessary by management.
