About The Position

Blue Sky Innovators, Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support DARPA requirements. The role involves designing, developing, testing, and supervising the manufacturing/integration of electrical and electronic equipment. This position requires a strong background in Systems Analysis, Systems Architecture, Systems/Equipment Support, Test and Evaluation, and Logistics support, particularly for C4ISR or similar requirements. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional skills in research and development, problem-solving, and decision-making within complex engineering challenges. Experience with advanced techniques and theories in Intelligence and Mission Capabilities, Architecture, Applications, and Mission Integration is essential. A TS/SCI clearance is mandatory for this role.

Requirements

  • Seven (7) years of professional experience with design, develop, test, and supervise the manufacturing/integration of electrical and electronic equipment, to include: Systems Analysis, Systems Architecture, Systems/Equipment Support, Test and Evaluation, and Logistics support of C4ISR or similar requirements.
  • TS/SCI Clearance
  • At least seven (7) years of experience supporting research and development (R&D) Department of Defense (DoD) programs.
  • Demonstrated skill in conceiving, planning and conducting research in problem areas of considerable scope and complexity requiring unconventional or novel approaches and sophisticated research techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to make decisions independently on research and development (R&D) engineering problems and methods, and to resolve important questions and plan and coordinate work.
  • Demonstrated experience in the use of advanced techniques, theories, precepts, and practices for each lead of the four functional areas (Intelligence and Mission Capabilities, Architecture, Applications, and Mission Integration). Each functional area lead shall have at least five (5) years extensive experience, background and knowledge of the corresponding functional area.
  • BS degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering

Nice To Haves

  • At least three (3) years of experience working in DARPA or similar organization is highly desirable.
  • Experience in support of DARPA requirements may be applied in lieu of experience with C4ISR requirements.

  • Apply advanced techniques, theories, precepts, and practices for lead roles in Intelligence and Mission Capabilities, Architecture, Applications, and Mission Integration.
