As an Electrical Engineer you will be responsible for assigned project designs, coordination, client communications, and associated construction administration. This opening is within our Religious & Cultural group, focusing on temples for The Church of Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • 5+ years of electrical design experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Able to excel in a fast-paced team environment

Nice To Haves

  • Revit experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Working on projects and teams while maintaining design consistency throughout
  • Design interior lighting, exterior lighting, power distribution, grounding, lightning protection, telecommunications, and security
  • Document calculations reflecting design compliance with code and client-specific design requirements
  • Perform quality control reviews of documents including plans, specifications, and design calculations
  • Work with Project Managers to ensure that the project schedule is met and that complete documents are provided for each submission
  • Review contractor RFIs, shop drawings, and product submittals
  • Provide training and mentorship to early-career team members
