Electrical Engineer 1

Techtronic Industries - TTI•Anderson, SC

About The Position

The Electrical Engineer designs and verifies digital and analog control systems for power tools, including both hardware and firmware, with a focus on battery management systems (BMS). Prior BMS experience is not required. The role covers circuit schematic and PCB layout development, component selection, bill of materials (BOM) generation, firmware architecture and development, production testing documentation, and the creation and execution of verification tests and other pre-production steps. The position calls for someone willing to learn, able to work across hardware and software, and comfortable with both hands-on work such as PCB rework and measurement equipment and analytical work such as simulation and calculations. Strong time-management skills and a production-focused mindset are important. The engineer works in a small, collegial group of electrical and embedded engineers, takes ownership of new projects, and may interact with component manufacturers. Travel to Asia may be required, typically 0% and up to 5% of the time.
