About The Position

Resonant Sciences LLC has an immediate opening for an Electrical Engineer to join our team. The position provides an opportunity to join a fast-paced elite team. The candidate for this position shall be a self-starter who can work independently or as part of a team. The candidate will have an opportunity to be a member of a team consisting of talented and dedicated engineers, technicians and professionals who work together to interrupt and challenge the status quo to design, develop, and produce state-of-the-art technologies. Resonant Sciences is a world-class research and development firm located in Dayton, Ohio focused on developing and transitioning innovative technologies and solutions to developmental and operational platforms. Our areas of expertise include FSS and dielectric radome and antenna design and fabrication, custom electronic solutions, and inhouse RF measurements of materials, antennas, radomes, and subsystems. Our technical staff are nationally recognized for contributions to their respective areas of specialization.

Requirements

  • BS with two (2) years of experience or Advanced Degree in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Electromagnetics.
  • Experience with CST, HFSS, FEKO, or equivalent CEM design tools.
  • Experience with MATLAB, FORTRAN or C++.
  • Comfortable interfacing with other engineers from multiple disciplines to turn concepts into prototypes.
  • Writing and communication skills with experience contributing to and/or making technical presentations to internal and external customers.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance required.

Nice To Haves

  • Active clearance preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Development, test, and validation of antenna and radome designs.
  • Network analyzer measurements.
  • Knowledge of electrical testing and characterization methods.
  • Analyze design risks, anticipate, and mitigate risks when possible, and report concerns to supervisor.
  • Work efficiently in collaborative environment.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.
