Requirements

  • US Citizenship or Permanent Residency required.
  • All applicants must have resided in the United States for the past 3 years.
  • On-site presence will be as required by the FAA.
  • Hardware skills in both analog and digital circuit analysis and design desired
  • Experience working in a team environment
  • Good written and spoken communication including developing technical documentation
  • Ability to pass an FAA background investigation
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering discipline; ABET is required (accredited by the Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology)
  • 3-6 years of engineering experience
  • Strong analytical skills, proven problem-solving ability while being self-motivated in our team environment
  • Experience developing creative solutions
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Testing, maintaining, analyzing, troubleshooting, installing and upgrading the infrastructure on operational systems critical in airplane approaches to airport landings and enroute navigations
  • Researching, designing and developing hardware systems, enhancements, modifications and configurations to existing systems and networks
  • Providing required input for development of system manuals, guidelines and documentation where commercially developed documents are unavailable
  • Providing engineering review of Navigation and Landing Systems design data to ensure compliance with FAA performance criteria
