About The Position

ASRC Federal Advanced Research has an opening for an Electrical Engineer Level 2 in support of our FAA engineering program for the Navigation and Landing Systems Group. You will find the subject matter interesting and a team-oriented environment that is collaborative.

Requirements

US Citizenship or Permanent Residency required. All applicants must have resided in the United States for the past 3 years.
On-site presence will be as required by the FAA.
Hardware skills in both analog and digital circuit analysis and design desired
Experience working in a team environment
Good written and spoken communication including developing technical documentation
Ability to pass an FAA background investigation

Responsibilities

Testing, maintaining, analyzing, troubleshooting, installing and upgrading the infrastructure on operational systems critical in airplane approaches to airport landings and enroute navigations
Researching, designing and developing hardware systems, enhancements, modifications and configurations to existing systems and networks
Providing required input for development of system manuals, guidelines and documentation where commercially developed documents are unavailable
Providing engineering review of Navigation and Landing Systems design data to ensure compliance with FAA performance criteria
