STS Government Solutions, LLC (SGS) is hiring for an Electrical Engineer to support an ongoing mission at Hill Air Force Base in Utah. This role involves designing F-16 on-aircraft electrical wiring and components, conducting engineering analysis to ensure compliance with F-16 standards, and documenting and validating installation procedures through Trial Verification Installation (TVI) and Kit Proof (KP). Responsibilities include correcting discrepancies, managing the configuration of all technical data, and potentially creating documentation such as parts lists, modification drawings, routing drawings, and reports. The engineer will design F-16 on-aircraft electrical wiring (harnesses and loose wire assemblies) and electrical components (matrix assemblies, circuit breaker panels, ethernet networks, etc.). They will perform necessary engineering analysis (e.g., electrical loads analysis, thermal modeling, environmental qualification) to demonstrate compliance with F-16 standards. The role also includes documenting designs, developing installation procedures, and performing TVI and KP. During these processes, the engineer will document discrepancies between engineering drawings, routing drawings, mechanical components, and installation procedures, and make necessary corrections to technical data. Maintaining revision histories for source data and performing rigorous configuration management of technical data for the USAF are also key aspects. Types of requirements may include Parts Lists, Functional Diagrams, Modification Drawings, Loose Wire Assemblies (LWAs), Wire Lists, Bills of Materials, Installation Drawings, Routing Drawings, Organic Change Notice Reviews and concurrence, Briefings, Reports, and White Papers and Analyses, and Design Review Data.
