About The Position
The client is located in Stow, OH and has an opportunity for an Electrical Engineer. This role involves working as an Electrical Engineer for a client in the custom machinery industry. The position is responsible for design and engineering on custom equipment. This is a contract to possible hire role that is a long-term need for the client. This role must be worked on-site.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology
- 2+ years of experience doing electrical drafting and design
- Understanding of machines and working for a manufacturing company
Nice To Haves
- AutoCAD Electrical experience preferred - open to AutoCAD experience with an electrical design background
- Knowledge of electrical standards preferred
- PLC programming experience a plus - Allen Bradley and GE preferred
- Knowledge of variable frequency drive and servo motor control experience
Responsibilities
- Doing design and engineering on custom equipment
- Responsible for doing wiring diagrams, panel layouts and associated tables
