About The Position
Wilo USA LLC is a subsidiary of Wilo SE, headquartered in Dortmund, Germany. Wilo is a leading manufacturer of pumps & pump systems for heating, cooling & air-conditioning solutions, water supply, and sewage & drainage. Wilo USA acquired Weil Pump and Scot Pump in 2017, American-Marsh Pumps in 2019 and QuantumFlo in October 2021 HydroServe in 2023 and Plad in 2023. The Control Panel Electrical Engineer will design control panels and provide engineering support for the UL508A listed control panel shop.
Requirements
- Proficient with MS Office programs (Excel, Word & Powerpoint)
- AutoCAD or other electrical design software experience
- B.S in Electrical Engineering
Nice To Haves
- Adhere to UL 508A and 698A guidelines for panel design
Responsibilities
- Generate control panel drawings using AutoCAD and other design software
- Design PLC programs to integrate with control panels
- Troubleshoot control panels in the field over the phone & through email
- Design and modify control panel bill of materials
- Support existing engineering projects
- Adhere to UL 508A and 698A guidelines for panel design
- Provide engineering support to the production team
- Review specifications and provide cost estimates for design
