About The Position

Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects, is seeking a full-time licensed Electrical Engineer for their Albuquerque, NM office. This role primarily focuses on the daily operations of engineering projects and interoffice collaboration. The ideal candidate will have experience with various clients, including federal organizations, possess strong communication skills, enjoy team-based work (both office and field), and be able to collaborate with other disciplines to develop solutions.

Requirements

Minimum of three (3) years of experience on similar projects.
Bachelor of Science or Master of Science in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Current PE License or EIT License with the ability to obtain a PE License.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Experience in electrical projects from a design perspective, including power systems, power distribution, lighting design, and various building systems.
Understanding of building codes and construction issues.
Ability to make local site visits.

Nice To Haves

Experience with federal organizations (e.g., DOD, DOE).

Responsibilities

Serve as the electrical engineer for projects.
Provide design, design management, specifications, and studies for electrical projects.
Develop and maintain good client relationships.
Assist in the preparation of engineering fees for project procurement.
