We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Electrical Engineer to join our team in supporting our Threat Systems Management Office customer. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between theoretical systems design and physical hardware integration. You will support the full systems engineering lifecycle from cradle-to-grave task management to validating high value engineering assets and participating in field activities.

Requirements

• ABET accredited Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (EE) or a related Engineering discipline
• 3 years of engineering related experience within the defense industry
• Must have an in-scope DoW Secret security clearance

Nice To Haves

• Network architecture design experience
• Testing: Experience developing test plans for electronic equipment.
• Hands-on Aptitude: Familiarity with electrical circuits and the fabrication of RF system. Debugging of electronic systems.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for supporting and helping to manage Aerial Threat System UAS (Group 1-5) programs and Engineering efforts including technical decisions, contracts, schedules, financial performance, and roadmaps.
• Supports and assists in engineering developments, aircraft modifications, and/or payload enhancements in support of U.S. Army test and evaluation requirements.
• Supports all aspects of sustainment engineering for UAS aircraft, support equipment, and spares for fielded systems.
• Involved in providing logistics support to include spares tracking, recommendations for order quantities, etc.
• Supports mission planning and coordination discussions of both operational and developmental flights.
• Supports and on occasion conducts briefings to internal and external stakeholders as well as senior leaders outlining engineering and program related material.
• Develops and reviews aircraft and system performance specifications.
• Supports development of contract actions to include Performance Work Statements, task orders, and other related documents.
• Interfaces with Project Director to assist in reporting program cost, schedule, and technical performance.
• Supports overseeing and managing all aspects of safety and quality related to assigned aircraft platforms and products.
• Supports Government acceptance of aircraft, spares and related support equipment ensuring conformance to requirements and specifications.
• Travels and represents TSMO in support of Aerial Threat System engineering activities, missions, conferences, and meetings including both CONUS and OCONUS trips.
• Maintains clear communication among all Aerial Threat Systems stakeholders.
