A typical day as an Electrical Engineer involves working with program ladder logic, configuring CNC parameters, and configuring HMI interfaces of new designs to meet requirements set by the customer and the engineering teams. You will assist the team in the machine build process from commissioning through final qualification, and assist in the selection of electrical hardware components to meet the needs of future equipment. Responsibilities include the integration of innovative CNC controls for complex multi-spindle machine tools, designing supporting control hardware and software, integrating peripheral equipment (vision, robotics, etc.), and full implementation during the commissioning and installation phases of projects. A strong work ethic is essential.

Requirements

  • A strong work ethic
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical degree

Nice To Haves

  • Experience specific to FANUC Robotics, FANUC CNC/PMC, and Industrial HMI (WPF & C#) - including troubleshooting, programming, and integration is preferred.
  • Other relevant experience with ladder logic, CNC controls, and industrial HMI will be considered
