About The Position

As an Electrical Engineer, you will research, plans, and designs mechanical and electromechanical products and systems, and directs and coordinates activities involved in fabrication, operation, application, installation, and repair of mechanical or electromechanical products and systems by performing the following duties. Support and direction of maintenance technicians in repair of equipment Optimization of production equipment and automation Hardwire design, programming, and commissioning of automation systems and production equipment Use of CAD, PLC, HMI, vision, motion, and robotics software for machine support, design, and commissioning Specification and procurement of hardware and equipment Design and evaluation of safety systems Installation of production equipment and automation including direction of resources Research and analyze data such as customer design proposal, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of design or application Plans and directs engineering personnel in fabrication of test control apparatus and equipment, and development of methods and procedures for testing products or systems Directs and coordinates fabrication and installation activities to ensure products and systems conform to engineering design and customer specifications Evaluates field installations and recommends design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B. S.) from four-year college or university majoring in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology
  • 1+ years related experience and/or training
  • Applicant should be knowledgeable in the areas of industrial hydraulics, pneumatics, PLC machine controls, robotics, blueprint interpretation, and precision measurement techniques.
