About The Position

ABNA is seeking a Electrical Engineer for our Midtown St. Louis, MO location. This position requires a self-motivated individual to assist with design and development of lighting, power distribution, communication, instrumentation and controls projects. ABNA is a multi-disciplinary M/W/DBE firm experiencing growing opportunities for electrical engineering and building services design capabilities for governmental, manufacturing, commercial, and institutional facilities. Candidate must have 5-10 years of experience. Responsible for ensuring the successful execution of design services may include the following tasks and duties: Design power distribution, lighting, and grounding systems. Create and review electrical equipment specifications. Prepare estimates of probable construction costs. Perform electrical engineering studies and calculations. Develop schematic drawings, wiring diagrams. MCC single line diagrams, control panel layouts, lighting & power plan drawings. Review Shop drawings and vendor documentation. Clearly communicate concepts and ideas with clients and construction personnel. Read and interpret P&IDs and General Arrangement Drawings. Develop proposals and project hour estimates. Assist with sales calls and interviews for projects. Meet with clients and vendors. Mentor less experienced engineers and designers Requirements Requirements: 5 to 10 years of experience.
