About The Position

The Electrical Engineer supports production by designing or maintaining electrical power and control systems. The role involves electronic systems and circuit design, analysis, integration, testing, troubleshooting, and root-cause investigation with corrective action. The engineer uses NI LabVIEW to create or update test VIs and test sequences, writes test plans and reports, and presents data to engineers, other departments, and internal or external customers. The position requires independent work as well as cooperation with interdepartmental teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
• At least 5 years of related experience with electronic systems and circuit design, analysis, integration, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and design electronic schematics, circuits, subsystems, and interconnect diagrams.
• Experience with digital and analog circuit design and troubleshooting.
• Experience conducting root-cause investigations and corrective action.
• Experience with NI LabVIEW, including creating or updating test VIs and test sequences.
• Experience using standard test equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, function generators, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers.
• Ability to write test plans and reports and present data to engineers, other departments, and internal or external customers.
• Ability to work independently and cooperatively with interdepartmental teams.

Responsibilities
