About The Position

Advantage Point Group, Inc. is seeking an Owners Representative with electrical experience to work at an industrial plant in Cordova, Illinois. The role monitors electrical contractors and ensures that wiring, switches, and electrical devices are installed according to project design documents and applicable codes, with the proper electrical rating for each space. The Owners Representative serves as a liaison between engineering and construction contractors, overseeing onsite work for safety and contract compliance. The role also oversees owner-required guidelines and specifications and permitting procedures. This position does not involve performing maintenance or physical labor. The assignment is scheduled from November 12, 2026, to June 2027, with a day shift of 8–12 hours per day. Weekend work is minimal. Local candidates are encouraged to apply; per diem is not available. Pay is $55–$65 per hour depending on experience and qualifications, with overtime at time and a half for hours over 40 per week.

Requirements

12 years of previous experience in industrial and/or heavy commercial work.
Strong electrical construction experience in the light or heavy manufacturing industry.
Strong experience with electrical classified environments (Class 1, Division 1).
Well versed in the National Electric Code (NEC).
Excellent communication skills.
Computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
Ability to deal with political aspects of a large corporate environment.
OSHA 30 certification.

Responsibilities
