The Electrical Engineer is responsible for designing, maintaining, and improving electrical equipment and control systems to ensure efficient, safe, and reliable production operations while adhering to applicable electrical codes and standards. Key responsibilities include: Design, develop, and implement electrical systems and components for manufacturing equipment Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in production machinery and control systems Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime Interpret and apply relevant electrical codes and standards (e.g., NFPA, NEC) in system design and maintenance, ensuring site is compliant Develop and maintain electrical documentation, schematics, and procedures Support installation, commissioning, and upgrades of new equipment Collaborate with Process Control Engineers and Technicians to maintain and improve PLCs, HMIs, and automation systems In addition to the above, a Senior Electrical Engineer is also responsible to monitor system performance and recommend improvements for efficiency and reliability and will act as the Project Engineer for Capex improvements to electrical distribution system.
