About The Position

Capgemini Engineering is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer (Hardware Design & Validation) to join our engineering team in Santa Clara, CA. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in designing, validating, and integrating digital and mixed-signal hardware for networking and security products. This role requires hands-on experience with high-speed interfaces, board bring-up, debugging, manufacturing support, and cross-functional collaboration throughout the product development lifecycle. As a key member of the hardware engineering team, you will contribute to the design and delivery of next-generation networking and security platforms, ensuring product performance, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.

Requirements

Electrical Engineer with 7+ years of relevant experience
Experience with networking products, switches, routers, firewalls, or security appliances.
Experience with manufacturing and compliance testing (EMI/EMC, Safety, Reliability).
Experience with digital and mixed-signal hardware for networking and security products.
Experience with schematic capture, component selection, and interface design
Experience with board bring-up, debugging, validation, and system integration.
Experience with high-speed interfaces (PCIe, DDR, Ethernet, USB, and SerDes)
