About The Position

Tutor Intelligence is seeking a robot electrical engineer to ideate, prototype, iterate, deploy, and scale up new robot electrical systems. This mostly comes down to power electronics and PCB design, with a whole bunch of firmware. Example projects you might work on: Motor control boards, Power distribution boards, Battery management systems, Actuator selection and integration, Sensor selection and integration.

Requirements

• Experience with PCBs and/or power electronics
• Proven ability to build hardware
• Creative approach to design
• Ability to push projects forward
• Capacity to learn and figure out almost anything

Responsibilities

• Ideate, prototype, iterate, deploy, and scale up new robot electrical systems.
• Focus on power electronics and PCB design.
• Incorporate firmware development.
• Work on motor control boards.
• Develop power distribution boards.
• Implement battery management systems.
• Select and integrate actuators.
• Select and integrate sensors.
