About The Position

Tenstorrent is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer to join their team and contribute to the design of next-generation AI products. In this role, you will be responsible for the complete ownership of designing complex, high-speed, multi-layer Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) that are integral to their cutting-edge systems. You will be designing desktop and server-grade boards and PCIe cards based on Tenstorrent's AI CPUs. The position involves cross-disciplinary collaboration, driving innovation from concept through to production, and seeing your designs directly impact real-world performance. This role is based on-site in Toronto, Canada or Belgrade, Serbia. The company welcomes candidates at various experience levels, and the final level will be determined during the interview process.

Requirements

Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering (or related field).
Hands-on PCB design experience.
Skilled in high-speed board schematic design ideally with 100/400/800 GbE, GDDR6/7, or PCIe Gen5/6 designs.
Solid understanding of the layout and signal integrity challenges for high-speed designs.
Comfortable working across electrical, mechanical, and thermal domains to deliver reliable, manufacturable solutions.
Confident using ECAD tools like Allegro/System Capture.
A natural problem-solver who enjoys debugging, fine-tuning, and optimizing designs for real-world conditions.

Nice To Haves

Altium experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead complex schematic designs, architectures, and layouts from concept to mass production.
Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet performance, thermal, and manufacturability goals.
Work with ODMs and manufacturing partners for seamless production handoffs.
Help refine design processes and best practices as part of a fast-moving engineering team.
