About The Position

In this Electrical Engineer role, you will test, troubleshoot, disposition, and perform Root Cause Corrective Action on Classified & Unclassified deliverable units. You will create, maintain, and improve work instructions (e.g., test plans, load procedures). You will collaborate with peers and other disciplines to meet test process efficiency and compliance goals collectively. You will play an active role in assisting the team to meet quality objectives, take part in quality investigations, including RCCA and 7-Steps, as determined by the QCE, and provide direct feedback to build and design processes. You will also eliminate bottlenecks within your respective product line(s), increase utilization of test equipment, and enhance troubleshooting capabilities and knowledgebase. Additionally, you will take part in ongoing collaboration regarding best practices and strategies, identify and communicate training needs and skills gaps in the teams, and carry out training and coaching as necessary. You will maintain compliance to all aspects of Safety. Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full time on-site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Active Secret Security Clearance
  • 3 years of related electrical experience.
  • Inter-Disciplinary work.
  • Work independently with little supervision.
  • Effectively communicate to peers, supervisors, and leaders.
  • Familiar with bench top equipment (Oscilloscopes, DMM's, etc).
  • Familiar with Electrical drawings and schematics.
  • RF experience, in an engineering capacity.
  • Experience troubleshooting a CCA at component level.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a desire to act as a mentor and a leader.
  • Similar DOD experience.
