About The Position

The Senior Engineer oversees electrical design for facilities associated with expansion and maintenance capital projects executed by third-party engineering firms. The role ensures designs comply with company specifications and industry standards and are managed within project budgets and schedules. The engineer liaises with internal functional groups in Project Execution, Operations, and Shared Services to ensure project and company requirements are achieved and incorporated into design deliverables.

Requirements

At least 7 years of progressive experience in electrical engineering system design and commissioning activities.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent from an accredited university or college.
Strong background in 480V and motor controls.
Strong background in VFDs, medium-voltage switchgear, and power distribution systems.
Strong background in power industry standards and practices.
Professional Engineer designation.
