About The Position

Applied Materials' Display Controls Department is searching for an intern to join our team in summer 2027! The department is responsible for hardware design and improvements for PCBs. The internship program will run from Monday, May 24 to Friday, August 13.

Requirements

• Student must be pursuing a Bachelor's (or Master's) degree program in Electrical Engineering, computer sciences, Physics, or a related field
• Student must be in good academic standing at their university, with a preferred GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale
• Desire to learn
• Quick learner

Nice To Haves

• Experience in semiconductor processing or manufacturing preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist with electronic and system documentation
• Assist in soldering and un-soldering components on PCBs
• Learn schematic capture and fundamentals of PCB design
• Analyze problems along with more Senior Engineers
• Organize and maintain our Electronics lab
• Use test equipment to gather important data
• Design and test various circuits
