The Electrical Engineer II will be sharing in the design and development of airborne electronic products while meeting attendant size, weight, power, reliability, and cost requirements. The work entails mixed-signal circuits including Power, Analog, Digital, FPGA, SoC and subsystems. You will be teamed with more senior engineers on potentially any of the following: digital / analog hardware architecture, schematic capture, design analysis, simulation, and hands-on laboratory validation and troubleshooting of complex electronic assemblies and systems. Supporting radar Warning Receivers (RWR) and other Electronic Warfare (EW) products requires working familiarity with Radio Frequency (RF) circuitry and system interfaces.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) obtained prior to start.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • Experience may be obtained through on‑the‑job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Nice To Haves

  • Coursework or project experience in Circuit Design, Digital Signal Processing, Power Systems, or Embedded Systems.
  • Experience or coursework using tools such as MATLAB, SPICE, or Mentor Graphics software.
  • Experience or coursework in FPGA-based circuitry and JTAG programming of FPGA devices.
  • Experience or coursework in electrical design and analysis with Mentor Graphics XPedition and HyperLynx SI, SPICE.
  • Experience with design of CCAs with FPGAs, flash memory, DDR RAM, ADCs, DACs, power conversion integrated circuits, and supporting analog circuits.
  • Experience with power electronics, motor controls, or mixed-signal circuit design.
  • Project or coursework experience in areas such as microcontroller programming, signal integrity analysis, or PCB layout and design.

Responsibilities
