About The Position

Mesa Power Solutions is a U.S. manufacturer of industrial power systems, including generator sets. The Electrical Engineer II independently owns the design, integration, optimization, and documentation of advanced industrial power generation systems from concept through production. The role is accountable for control system architecture, safety and protection analysis, code compliance, testing, and troubleshooting, and serves as a key technical resource for engineers, technicians, production, and field teams. The engineer translates project requirements into detailed electrical system designs; selects components; designs circuits, control systems, and PLC logic; manages design changes; and approves production schematics and harness drawings. The role also leads testing and root-cause analysis, conducts system protection studies, specifies grounding and bonding, ensures applicable standards and codes are met, and independently manages cross-functional engineering projects. The position includes mentoring and reviewing the work of Electrical Engineer I staff. The role is based in the Casper/Evansville, Wyoming area, with no stated travel requirement.
