About The Position

Collins Aerospace is currently in search of an Electrical Engineer II to support all aspects of technical performance across multiple depot and production programs at the Largo Consolidated Manufacturing Center (CMC). This role will report to the Largo Test Engineering Manager. The position involves integration and testing of RF/Analog/Digital components and modules, transition and integration of Special Test Equipment (STE), and working as part of a team to analyze Hardware and Software Test requirements and specifications to determine Hardware and Software requirements. The engineer will develop solutions to test issues and create productivity & efficiency enhancements. They will interact with Test Technicians, Factory Facilitators, Operations Managers, other Engineers, Quality Assurance and Reliability personnel, and provide oversight of test equipment used for production purposes.

Requirements

University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field
Active and transferable U.S. government issued SECRET security clearance is required prior to start date.
Requires a degree in Electrical Engineering.
Experience and able to work with and troubleshoot complex Sat Com Subsystems.
Experience working in a lab or manufacturing environment with standard EE lab/production equipment (i.e., Vector Network Analyzers, Power Meters, Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers, DMMs, Signal Sources, etc.).
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Nice To Haves

Master’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
The ability to work with production equipment at a hands-on capacity.
Ability to apply basic principles, theories, and concepts within the electrical engineering fields and general knowledge of other related disciplines.

Responsibilities

Integration and testing of RF/Analog/Digital components and modules.
