About The Position

The Airborne RF Electronics Electrical Engineering Department empowers people to deliver innovative, affordable, and producible products and technologies to support airborne Radar solutions throughout the full product lifecycle while remaining accountable for program execution cost, schedule, and performance. As an Electrical Engineer II - Production Support, you will be part of a team of highly talented engineers that work on highly complex Radar products and test sets. You will be working as a member of a production support team and under the guidance of an Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL) in McKinney, Texas.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
  • A minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience with electronics and electrical circuits as well as ability to isolate failures to root cause.
  • Experience reading & interpreting drawings and electrical schematics
  • Experience with lab equipment such as multimeters, signal sources, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and logic analyzers
  • Experience working on a production program or manufacturing operations.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance post-start is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

  • Experience with Mentor Graphics, Matlab, Python, or PSPICE

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and isolate failures to root cause on Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs), modules, components, and test sets. Issues could range across a variety of fields such as analog, digital, RF, power, and software interfaces.
  • Resolve hardware and process issues encountered during production and sustainment.
  • Interpret and apply engineering documentation, including schematics, assembly drawings, wire lists, and parts lists.
  • Analyze production test data to verify compliance with specifications and identify anomalies or trends.
  • Work within a cross‑functional team environment to maintain production schedules and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide daily onsite technical support in a high‑mix production and lab environment.
