About The Position

At Raytheon, the foundation of everything we do is rooted in our values and a higher calling – to help our nation and allies defend freedoms and deter aggression. We bring the strength of more than 100 years of experience and renowned engineering expertise to meet the needs of today’s mission and stay ahead of tomorrow’s threat. Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world. Join the Raytheon team within our Hardware Electrical Engineering Organization responsible for the design, test, manufacture, and mission support of advanced electrical subsystems utilized in extreme battlefield environments. In this role, you will contribute to cutting-edge technologies spanning target detection and tracking, guidance, navigation, digital signal processing, and communications. Working collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams, you will apply rigorous engineering processes to solve complex hardware challenges, engineer high-reliability circuit card assemblies (CCAs), and advance solutions from design through lab integration.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline. Degree must be obtained by start date.
  • Experience or coursework with one or more of the following: RF, Microwave, Analog, Digital Electronics, Mixed Signal, Circuit Design or Analysis, Power Electronics, VHDL, FPGA, Electrical Components, Digital Signal Processing, or PCB design.
  • Experience operating laboratory test and measurement equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, waveform/function generators, spectrum analyzers, or network analyzers) to test hardware, interface with sensors, or measure electrical signals.
  • Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Ability to obtain INTERIM U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date
