This position, under general supervision, is responsible for the design of new products and ensuring that they meet performance, quality, manufacturing, and cost requirements for Standard (Behind the Ear - BTE) and/or Custom (In the Ear - ITE) products. The ideal candidate must possess communication ability, technical expertise, creativity, and an internal drive to lead the creation of designs that are recognized as best-in-class in the hearing aid industry. The candidate must also be able to work well in a team environment and have a passion for continuous improvement. Engineer II signifies that at least 55% of the new competencies of the next higher career “track” have been achieved.
