About The Position
As a utility electrical engineer, you will provide electrical expertise and cost-effective solutions for multiple utility facility operating and construction projects that meet budget, quality, and schedule requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent, relevant experience
- 1 to 3+ years of experience working in a manufacturing setting as an electrical utility system engineer preferred
- Exposure in electrical facilities setting, preferably in production facility
- Experienced with the handling of Utility Facilities
- Comfortable working independently and with others
- Results-oriented and perseverant
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Project and process management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Technically proficient and motivated to continuously improve
Responsibilities
- Plan and manage engineering activities concerned with design, procurement, construction, pre-commissioning
- Electrical: Switchgear (MV, LV), Transformer, PLC, Bus duct etc.
- Preventive maintenance execution in order to complete all PM tasks
- Troubleshoot the abrupt breakdown of utility facilities
- Make and review technical document
- Monitoring utility operation
- Demonstrate problem-solving methodology and reduce a loss of utility cost
- Follow the work procedure and comply with safety & standard
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards
