About The Position

As an electrical engineer, you will join a fast-paced team of engineers creating cutting edge products for the US Air Force at the Air Force Research Lab. You will work alongside BAE Systems Space & Mission Systems and US Air Force developers and engineers to provide technologies that increase the capabilities of our nation’s military. Our team’s goal is to create technologies that optimize human-machine performance in the next generation of Air Force systems. We accomplish this by exploiting state of the art hardware and software practices while maintaining a tight feedback loop with the warfighters. Our unique customers give you the opportunity for an interesting and meaningful career. Our technologies have been used DoW- wide as well as by civilian government and commercial organizations. Our small team allows us to be quick and efficient while giving you the chance to grow as a valued part of the team. This also gives you the ability to be involved in the entire development process: requirements, conceptualization, design, prototyping, and evaluation. There is a significant opportunity for you to develop novel solutions to problems; many of our team members own patents. We encourage our team to be constant learners: staying current on industry best practices and thinking outside the box. The Engineering, Science and Analysis (ESA) Strategic Capabilities Unit comprises the technical talent and organizational leadership that enables the successful delivery of high-impact discriminating technologies for our customers’ missions. Our collaborative, cross-functional teams are committed to innovation, integrity, continual learning and strong execution.
