Requirements

  • Minimum of a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • Will have earned their degree within the last year and able to start by Fall 2026.
  • Experience with Applied electronics and electrical engineering including avionics hardware (from PCBs to electrical systems), software, hardware in the loop, etc.
  • Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD or other drafting programs).
  • Experience with Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
  • Experience with Analyzing and troubleshooting electrical systems.
  • Relevant internship/co-op and/or hands-on experience that demonstrate development of both technical skills as well as leadership qualities.
  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and strengthen our culture of inclusion.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team on rapid development programs.
  • Flexible and adaptable mindset.
  • Self-driven with the ability to seek out requirements with minimal direction.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field.
  • Hands-on project experience.
  • Experience with Design and test of Avionics (electrical, mechanical)
  • Experience with Electrical systems with a focus on reliability and efficiency
  • Experience with Circuit Design
  • Experience with Radiation Effects
  • Experience with Robotics and motion control
  • Experience with C, C++, Matlab, Simulink

Responsibilities

  • Your work may involve many aspects of applied electronics and electrical engineering including avionics hardware (from PCBs to electrical systems), software, hardware in the loop, instrumentation & controls, system test, power systems, communication systems, mechanical systems, propulsion systems, manufacturing, and systems engineering.
  • Specific duties are subject to our business unit objectives.
  • Enforce safety policies during test planning and operations.
