About The Position
Rexel USA is seeking an Electrical Distribution Project Manager for its Denver, CO location. This role is responsible for managing project business by placing orders, tracking shipments, and ensuring accurate customer billing. The Project Manager will own the customer relationship, manage interactions with sales and vendors, and maintain clear and timely communication throughout the project lifecycle. The level of the position (I, II, or Senior) and corresponding pay will be determined by the candidate's experience, knowledge, and capabilities.
Requirements
- 1+ years of quotation, project management, or customer service experience
- High School or GED - Required
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers and peers
- Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Must possess an entrepreneurial spirit, be self-motivated and enthusiastic about the business
- Must possess the capacity to function effectively and multi-task in a demanding and time sensitive environment
- Must be detail oriented and possess excellent organizational and time management skills
- Must be analytical and able to solve problems
- Ability to drive results

- Experience in electrical distribution industry preferred
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of low profile/complex projects
- Communicate with the customer, expedite OS&Ds (over, short & damaged), and resolve customer issues promptly
- Review Purchase Orders to understand requirements and ensure terms and conditions are correct
- Collaborate with sales and vendors to identify opportunities for increased margin
- Coordinate with vendors, customers, and sales teams on pricing, order placement, claims, returned goods, and account management to meet customer expectations
- Expedite backorders to maximize fill rates and customer satisfaction
- Manage the delivery schedule, product quality, information updates, and back charges
- Handle day-to-day project requests and large packages from the Quotation team
- Provide timely price quotations, re-quotes, and/or proposals with leadership assistance
- Determine vendors and purchase requirements with leadership, seeking pricing advantages and product substitution opportunities to improve project profitability
- Coordinate with the project team for documentation requirements such as O&M manuals, Test Reports, submittal packages, and Certificates of Compliance
