About The Position

FUNCTION: Under direction and utilizing established procedures, responsible for the creating and developing product designs using SolidWorks Electrical. Evaluate design feasibility and ensure products meet user needs, cost-effectiveness, manufacturability and applicable standards

Responsibilities

• Analyze new and existing products in the areas of design, function, reliability, and manufacturability.
• Creation and refinement of electrical systems and drawings to capture design intent and adapt products to specific customer requirements and product applications.
• Prepare drawings, Bill of Materials (), Installation Operation and Maintenance Manuals, and technical documentation as required.
• Apply applicable NEMA, ATEX, ANSI, API, CSA, CE, CRN or other codes and standards as required.
• Assisting the testing and debugging of assigned products in the shop.
• Maintain ongoing project requirements, schedules, and specifications for multiple projects in a deadline-based environment.
• Work with other departments to resolve issues with orders and/or equipment in the shop and execute Engineering Change processing to revise designs as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
