Requirements

Associates or higher degree in a technical field and a minimum of six years of related experience or a high school diploma and 13 or more years of relevant experience.
Experience with low and medium voltage power distribution and industrial control systems
Experience with NFPA 70, NFPA 79, and UL508A
Must be able to support construction and operational activities related to design outputs.
Field walkdowns will be required sometimes in radiological contaminated areas
Must be a U.S. citizen.
Successful drug screening.
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a security or clearance badge.
Requires a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Q security clearance; however, all qualified candidates will be considered regardless of their current clearance status.

Responsibilities

Drafting in Bentley MicroStation: One-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, lighting/power plans, installation details, Instrumentation and Controls Diagrams, conduits/cable schedules, fire alarm and communication drawings.
Preparing data sheets, specifications, and walkdown reports.
Work in concert with electrical engineers and other CAD drafters from the same work group.
Other duties as assigned.
