About The Position

P2S is seeking an Electrical Design Intern for Summer Internship opportunities. This role is part of the Electrical Engineering team, providing hands-on experience in office and field settings, and contributing to client projects. The program emphasizes real-world industry exposure, including project site visits and internal training, fostering a unique learning experience and encouraging participation in company events. The internship program aims to offer a positive work/training experience aligned with career goals and education level.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an accredited university majoring in Electrical Engineering.
• Trained to utilize CAD/BIM standards
• Ability to work effectively in a highly energetic and multiple-engagement environment, dedication to teamwork, a strong work initiative, and the ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas; detail-oriented

Nice To Haves

• Training in Revit and/or AutoCAD is a plus
• FE/EIT is a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist the engineering team in the execution of ongoing projects.
• Conduct research and analysis to contribute to project development.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines.
• Contribute to the design process by creating and modifying engineering drawings.
• Participate in prototyping activities to test and validate design concepts.
• Assist in conducting tests to ensure the functionality and reliability of engineering solutions.
• Work closely with quality assurance teams to identify and address potential issues.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation.
• Generate reports and summaries to communicate project progress.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Participate in team meetings, providing valuable insights and feedback.
• Engage in training sessions and workshops to enhance technical skills.
• Seek opportunities for continuous learning and development within the engineering field.
