About The Position
The client is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer for a direct-hire, in-office opportunity with schedule flexibility. The role involves designing, developing, and engineering PLC control panels, motor control panels, and process diagrams. This will include working with vendor equipment specifications, job projects, NEC codes, and 480V distribution systems.
Requirements
- 5-10 years of AutoCAD Electrical experience required
- Experience producing design and detailed drawings for installation of electrical systems and equipment, including panels, controls, motors, wiring, VFD’s, cable tray, and conduit routing
- Experience calculating voltage drops, conduit fill, and wiring sizing
- Experience developing scope of work, material list, task description, and project schedule
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and engineer PLC control panels
