Electrical Design Engineer - Industrial Construction
About The Position
Our client, a multidisciplinary consultancy delivering high-value industrial and commercial projects nationwide, is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join their team in Limerick. They cover all aspects of electrical systems, from wiring and power distribution to control systems and energy management. This is a pivotal role supporting the design and delivery of electrical systems across a wide range of projects, such as distilleries, data centres, food manufacturing, and chemical facilities. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with power supply and distribution systems, general electrical services, fire protection, lighting and emergency lighting, data and communication systems, CCTV, access control, intruder systems, and integration with mechanical systems.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering
- 4+ years’ design experience in consultancy
- Proven ability to produce electrical tender documentation
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Strong technical knowledge of building services systems
- Full driving licence and own car
