About The Position

CCI Facility Support Services, LLC is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to design, develop, and test electrical systems for commercial building projects, ensuring performance, safety, and code compliance. The role uses CAD software, including AutoCAD and MicroStation, to produce electrical drawings and layouts. The engineer works with stakeholders to identify and resolve electrical system issues, applies electrical theory, codes, and industry standards, and collaborates with mechanical and structural teams to integrate systems and execute projects successfully. The position reports to the company’s office at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama. Salary is negotiable based on experience. Employment is conditional on passing a pre-employment drug screening and receiving acceptable background-check results. Depending on contract requirements, the employee may also need to obtain appropriate clearance levels and access to military installations.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
Ability to perform the essential duties satisfactorily.
Pass a pre-employment drug screening and obtain acceptable background-check results.
If applicable to the contract, obtain the required clearance levels and access to military installations.

Responsibilities

Design and test electrical systems for commercial buildings.
Create and validate electrical designs and layouts using CAD software, including AutoCAD and MicroStation.
Identify and resolve issues within electrical systems.
Apply electrical theory, codes, and industry standards.
Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional mechanical and structural teams to integrate electrical systems.
Perform other duties as assigned.
