Who is Locke Supply:

Locke Supply Co. is a growing, employee-owned distributor for plumbing, electrical, and HVAC parts and equipment based in Oklahoma City. The history of the company dates to 1955, when Don and Wanda Locke opened a wholesale plumbing supply outlet in Bartlesville, OK. Locke Supply had a marketing vision of taking the merchandise to the customers' territory with exceptional customer service. It didn't take long for customers to develop a strong liking for the way Locke Supply did business, which led to the opening of a second branch in 1958. This concept has allowed Locke Supply to grow in areas never considered. Today, there are over 190 store locations in a 6- state area and a 100-acre distribution center to supply them all.

Requirements

• A "mechanically minded" individual with a desire to learn the electrical trade.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to building long-term customer relationships.
• A high school diploma or GED, the ability to pass a background check, Drug screen, and a DOT (Department of Transportation) physical.

Responsibilities

• Exceptional Customer Service: Assist contractors, electricians, and walk-in customers with product selection and order fulfillment. Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, be able to answer customer inquiries regarding pricing, availability, and lead times.
• Inventory and Warehouse Support: Assist with receiving, stocking, organizing and replenishing inventory at the project house. Participate in cycle counts and inventory accuracy initiatives.
• Branch Pride: Maintain a clean, organized, professional branch and warehouse. You take initiative to improve the branch because it is your branch.
• Collaborative Success: Support overall project house operations as business needs require. Assist with loading and unloading customer vehicles when necessary. Work collaboratively with inside sales, outside sales, project management, warehouse personnel, and management to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Administrative Responsibilities: Process returns and warranty requests according to company procedures. Maintain accurate documentation for orders, transfers, and customer transactions.
• Continuous Learning: Develop and maintain knowledge of electrical products, including but not limited to wire and cable, conduit and fittings, lighting, switchgear and distribution equipment, wiring devices, and industrial and commercial electrical supplies. Stay informed on new products by visiting and maintaining vendor relationships.
