The Electrical Controls Engineer will be responsible for the design of Electrical Hardware and Software for Industrial Production Machinery. This includes negotiating with Production Engineering to clarify project specifications, developing quotations for electrical systems, designing safety control circuits and hardware circuits, and generating hardware drawings. The role also involves creating machine software (PLC, Robot, Vision, Servo Motors, etc.), adjusting and debugging machine software during construction and installation, updating final electrical drawings, and creating the electrical portion of the machine operation manual. Some domestic and international travel is expected. The E3-level Electrical/Controls Engineer operates with a high degree of autonomy, developing their own plans to complete assigned tasks satisfactorily and handling broad or undeveloped, high-level concepts.
