This role will work closely with Engineering, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, Program Management, Sales/Customer Support, and external customers or suppliers as needed. The position will support both new product/program work and production sustaining needs, requiring strong coordination across business units and functional teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related engineering discipline required.
  • Target 4-7+ years of relevant electrical engineering experience developing products through the entire product development lifecycle, preferably in aerospace, defense, or regulated manufacturing.
  • Demonstrated experience with electrical design documentation, troubleshooting, test support, requirements interpretation, and working independently on moderately complex engineering assignments.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must be a US Person (as defined in applicable export regulations) or a non-US person who is eligible to obtain required export authorization.

Nice To Haves

  • Project management skills would be a real plus!
  • Manufacturing experience is strongly preferred. This role will need to support production issues, understand manufacturability, work with operators/quality/suppliers, and translate engineering requirements into practical production solutions.
  • Experience with aerospace wiring, harnesses, qualification testing, EMI/EMC considerations, FAA/TSO or customer certification documentation, root cause/corrective action, and production support.
  • Prior experience mentoring junior engineers or leading small technical efforts would be valuable because this is a Level 3 role expected to operate with independence and influence across functions.

Responsibilities

  • Own electrical design, analysis, troubleshooting, and sustaining support for aerospace products and production programs.
  • Develop and review schematics, wiring diagrams, test requirements, engineering changes, and technical documentation.
  • Support manufacturing, quality, suppliers, and customers by resolving electrical issues, validating product performance, supporting root cause/corrective action, and ensuring designs meet customer, regulatory, and internal requirements.
