About The Position

We are looking for an experienced Construction Supervisor (Electrical) to oversee electrical construction activities for a utility-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in Earth, TX. As the primary field representative, you will ensure work is completed safely, and in compliance with project specifications and quality standards. Your role will involve daily coordination with EPC contractors, construction management, and project team members to monitor progress, verify installation quality, resolve field issues, and support successful commissioning and turnover to Operations. This is a full-time, onsite position working a 50-hour schedule (Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-5:30 PM). The assignment offers long-term contract potential with a strong likelihood of extension. Qualified non-local candidates may be eligible for GSA per diem (7 days/week), a $350 monthly travel allowance, and truck rental reimbursement up to $1,750 per month.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of electrical construction experience, preferably within utility, renewable energy, or industrial projects.
  • Experience serving as an Electrical Inspector, Electrical Supervisor, Construction Supervisor, or similar field leadership role.
  • Knowledge of low-voltage and medium-voltage electrical systems.
  • Experience supporting design, construction, inspection, and field execution activities.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety and compliance with applicable regulations and industry best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily field management of electrical construction activities.
  • Coordinate EPC contractors and subcontractors working onsite.
  • Perform field inspections and quality surveillance to verify compliance with project requirements.
  • Monitor contractor performance, skillfulness, and adherence to construction schedules.
  • Ensure electrical installations meet applicable codes, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Promote and enforce a safety culture across all onsite activities.
  • Identify, document, and facilitate resolution of construction deficiencies and field issues.
  • Verify completion of corrective actions resulting from inspections and quality reviews.
  • Collaborate with construction managers, engineering teams, and contractors to maintain project progress.
  • Support commissioning, startup, and turnover activities to provide a successful transition to Operations.
  • Maintain accurate field documentation, reports, and progress updates.
