About The Position

The Electrical Construction Project Manager takes full responsibility for a variety of electrical projects from marketing through project closeout and customer follow-up. The role requires a successful track record and a complete understanding of project management, including profitability, supervision, customer relations, and fiscal and contract management. Projects may involve electrical service, tenant improvement, light commercial, and light industrial work.

Requirements

• Five years of construction project experience in the regional market, with a proven record of successful relationships and marketing skills (preferred).
• Superior knowledge of electrical codes and construction methods.
• Demonstrated ability to read, understand, and write contracts.
• Experience writing detailed scope proposals.
• Strong computer skills, including Excel, Word, and estimating software.

Nice To Haves

• Prior design/build experience is preferred.
• Experience with ConEst estimating software is a plus.
• A proven record of successful relationships and marketing skills in the regional market is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, track job costs, and close out projects.
• Provide monthly project status details and percent-of-completion reports.
• Perform detailed take-offs and estimating for electrical service, tenant improvement, light commercial, and light industrial work.
• Market and build profitable jobs.
• Make decisions concerning project cost, time, and performance.
• Cross-sell other company operations through fully integrated solutions.
• Interface with contractors, vendors, and in-house operations.
• Coordinate and direct the workforce.
• Support an injury-free work environment and safety culture.
• Follow up with customers.
