The Electrical Construction Manager will have primary responsibility for coordinating all installation, procurement, and planning matters related to electrical infrastructure, including power distribution up to 15 kV, cable trays, power panels, cable and conduit runs, transformers, and lighting for the LBNF/DUNE facilities at the SURF. This role involves obtaining a comprehensive understanding of all electrical, design, and construction documents, attending daily meetings for workday planning, assisting in developing and reviewing resource-loaded work schedules, and writing/reviewing work packages and build plans. The manager will coordinate with A/E firms, electrical contractors, the SURF team, and facilities contractors, and provide oversight of construction contracts related to electrical installation. Responsibilities also include providing information for 3D model updates, understanding AC/DC power distribution, developing and maintaining 2D drawings, developing creative solutions for complex interfaces, integrating ESH&Q into documents and processes, developing procurement packages, reviewing bid packages, working with AHJs and code officials, assessing design changes, ensuring compliance with codes and standards, performing field inspections, supporting operations planning, and providing technical direction to draftspersons, designers, engineering associates, and technicians. The role also requires adherence to environmental, health, and safety regulations.
