About The Position

SI Engineering, P.C. (SIE) is seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Electrical Construction Inspector to join their team. SIE is a full-service engineering firm specializing in civil, structural, electrical, and transportation engineering, as well as bridge and facility inspections, program/construction management, and construction inspection. They have a trusted reputation for excellence across public sector clients in the NYC metropolitan region, working on projects ranging from local community revitalization to multi-billion-dollar infrastructure initiatives.

Requirements

• 7+ years of REI/CM experience on infrastructure projects
• Experience working with public agencies required
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, work respectfully with multi‐discipline teams and maintain composure under deadlines.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring contractor’s work
• Ensuring construction is as per the plans and specifications
• Preparing daily reports
• Assisting Office Engineer as needed
• Other duties as assigned
